The theme of the Spearman V conference is workforce readiness. The conference will provide a multidisciplinary perspective from education, psychology, and labor economics. The conference will be prefaced with a two-day preconference workshop covering topics in measurement and assessment.


ETS is proud to announce the fifth conference in the Spearman Seminar series, provisionally entitled Workforce Readiness & Entrepreneurship: Global Skills for the 21st Century. The quadrennial Spearman series highlights significant new directions in educational and psychological measurement. Past themes have been information processing, personality, enhancement and new constructs, and diagnosis, respectively. The workforce readiness seminar will explore the most important skills for the global 21st century workforce, its leaders and entrepreneurs, current levels of preparedness, and assessment of and training for those critical skills.
